This has been a horrible week for a lot of people around here. A couple days ago a bus with 4 special needs children got hit by not one, but TWO DUMP TRUCKS! It killed all the children and the bus driver is still in the hospital. A dump truck was going down the highway when a scooter suddenly stopped in front of him. So, to keep from hitting the guy on the scooter he swerved into oncoming traffic and clipped the back end of the bus which flipped the bus on it's side and it skidded right into the dump truck that was behind the other dump truck. The second dump truck smashed right into the roof of the bus. The kids didn't stand a chance. The guy on the scooter....who's fault the accident was....NOT hurt. Two days before that accident there was an accident less than a mile from my house. A 21 year old man ran a stop sign and t-boned a car. The car hit a telephone pole and flipped onto it's roof killing 3 out of the 4 people in the car. The mother was the only one to survive. She lost her husband, daughter and son-in law. The guy who ran the stop sign....who's fault the accident was....NOT hurt. That same night a 19 year old woman was driving down the highway and lost control of her car and flipped it. It killed her passenger... The 19 year old....who's fault the accident was....NOT hurt! What the heck? How does things happen that way?

I am very sorry to hear that. alot of things happen like that all of the time around here too. It is nevereneding. It makes you wander sometimes how so many bad things can happen all at once.

We had a day like that last week. Although only 2 people lost their life, there were 3 very bad accidents. One boy killed his brother and sent others to the hospital with very serious injuries, by running a stop sign. Another, someone hit a school bus and was killed. Another the same day, a motorcycle swerved to miss a racoon, and flipped his bike and had to be lifeflighted. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families. There is no answer as to why things happen like this.

I just don't get how the person who causes the accident rarely gets hurt. It just doesn't seem fair somehow. Unless having to live with the mayhem they have caused is their punishment. What a horrible week around your home area. It has been a bit quieter here. Only one bad thing happened. My stepson's friend's dad passed away.
