egg is so wide-spread in our daily life that seldom people take this question seriously: how to cook egg? are you totally steam it with shell or break it into a flat pan? one of cook methods is a little complicated but the egg would be extreme delicious called 'colorful crystal egg'. firstly, steam the egg with shell and cooked in half; second, take it out, break out a small hole and dig up some part of it, then stuff with salted egg and preserved egg; lastly, steam it again till totally cooked. this is a special taste invented by a cook working at palace in Qing Dynasty. if you have interest, try it and you'll get a surprise. Can you recommend your way to cook eggs?

That sounds kind of like a deviled egg, but you are cooking it a second time. Very interesting. I like eggs over easy with toast to dunk in them. I also like them scrambled with cheese mixed in them. Sometimes I will make egg salad for lunch~ hard boil the egg, add mayo, pickle, onion, salt and pepper and eat it on a bagel.

I like my eggs fried and the yellow has to be done. No runny yolks for me! I like them scrambled, poached or deviled. I like this idea of yours I think I'll give it a try. Sounds hard but I'm game so I'll get back with you! Happy mylotting!

Wow, you can do almost anything with eggs! I usually end up doing some kind of scramble. My favorite is a savory scramble that has sauteed onions, red peppers & garlic, melted cream cheese and milk (or cream) added into the scrambled eggs and then add fresh thyme. When its all cooked I take it off the burner, toss grated cheese on top, put the lid on it and steam until melted. Just a little thyme adds this flavor that is unbelieveablly unique. I actually make this for dinner a lot - the kids love it!

Sounds interesting - the crystal egg that you described. It's just it looks like a lot of work. I usually have my eggs hard-boiled, fried or make into omelets, with bacon bits, dried shrimps and chopped mushrooms. I like salted eggs too, and usually take this hard-boiled with porridge.
