I never been fired from a job, but I quit my last job because I got sick and I wasn't able to work for a while until I got well. This was 4 years ago when I was working at a daycare. I loved the kids to death but I had to let it go.

i got fired in may, and i know its a cliche reason but it was not my fault. i had an office manager who was jealous of my situation. before i moved in with my fiancee i was living with my father and she was awesome she would pick me up and drop me off at home, we would talk and it seemed like we were friends. until the day i told her i was moving in with my fiancee, after that she was horrible to me. i told her a month before i was moving in with him and she stoped doing what she used to do, she even stopped talking to me like a friend during breaks. then once i was engaged (at that time we were just bf & gf) she would tell the owner i was doing things that i wasnt doing, she even took one of the things that i had on my desk that my fiancee gave me and hid it until the next day when i told her i will have the authorities involved. and what she did to get me fired was she told the owner that i didnt call to say i was not coming into work (there is a very very strict policy on that) and i did call when i tried to defend myself the owner didnt want to hear what i had to say and i was let go. but it is ok because i have less stress in my life without having to worry what she is going to do next and i can look for a job that pays better than that one did.lol

oh yes she was very jealous because she was with someone for 8 years and every big event she thought he was going to propose and he never did. our big day is halloween next year :) i am excited about it.lol it is useless and pointless to try and defend yourself i found that out the hard way, but me and my fiancee are very happy. i thought we would get "sick" of each other seeing each other all the time (even more since i wasnt working) and it actually has been even better, having more time together and planning more things for the wedding.lol

I love my job very much because it was a dream come true to me but unfortunately I had to quit/resign simply because I want to be with my family.

Sometimes you just have to make the choice. Family is very important. I think you did the right thing.

Hi miracle, I quit my job when I got married...I had 3 jobs in the past and both resigned from it..I haven't experienced being fired! First job, I quit because it was far from our city, I just accepted it because it was the only opportunity I had after College, then my second job, I resigned after 5 years because I feel like I need a new environment and I found a new job which pays higher that it!

Hi! Well I did not quit my last job. I only took a vacation but uncontrollable circumstances happened and led me to permanently give up the job. That was last year. I still don't have a job right now but I'm busy tying to revive the family business. I'm also making use of my extra time for my online earnings. But I'm still looking forward to work again. Ciao!

hi.. yes.. i was fired from my last job. because i gave a police complaint against my boss as he punished his child by kicking and slapping very hardly. that girl baby is just 8 years old. he beat his children whenever he gets tension on his own works. he is a rude man and respect his company workers. i feel very shame to work on that company. i decided to quit my job after giving police complaint as he is so rude with his own childrens. on that day, he beat his child by taking a steel rod and made a beating on childs leg. this made me much angry. i gave complaint and returned to the company for giving my resignation letter. but before reaching my company, i got a phone call that i am dismissed from the company. but, nothing to worry here...

I quit my last job because I was afraid that my employer is not stable enough to pay me. I observed that during the past few months of my stay there, my salary always get delayed and the company still owes me three months of my salary . Though, I love the company and my job there, I decided to leave them for my future

I worked at the same job for 18 years. I just got laid off. The housing/construction is very bad here right now. I will be returning to work when this industry picks back up. I estimate that will be at least another year or so.

I quit my last job because of certain reasons and because I had found a new job. I had two jobs at one moment and I had to quit one because of a car accident I had and I just kept one. After I kept one that job the managers didn't appreciate what I did for them after 4 years of working hard and everything else they only had gave me one single raise when I asked for one because I knew I deserved it and I got a promotion they deny me. SO what I did was quit my job go to my homeland for a month because of a couple of problems then I came back and found the recent job I have as a manager for Sage and I love my job I am currently working and we get good pay and rewarded for what we actually deserve. I am glad I found the job I have.

It's hard to let go of a job that you really enjoy. About two years ago I was a greeter at Wal-mart. Yes, Wal-mart. I loved it but I started having some health problems and had to take a two month medical leave. When I came back, I quit because they refused to help me with keeping my job. Back problems caused me not to be able to stand for long periods and I needed a stool for occassional help. They said NO!!! TWICE!! So, I quit. That was all there was to the great Wal-mart. I still shop there but I will never work fo them again.
