I just got paid for another article on AC. I got more this time! $3.21! I am ecstatic! I need to work on some more articles. I need to submit atleast 4 this week so that I can start earning some more money. With all the things I do though time is a luxury. How are you doing on your writing?

I've not been writing at all, and I need to kick myself in the butt. I have written down many topics, but I just can't bring myself to write to the length necessary to publish there lately. I can post in myLot all day and all night, but I think I get bored when trying to write longer. Congratulations on getting published again. It is a great feeling when you get that notification, isn't it? How long was the wait after you submitted it? I know there was a two week delay at one point but it got better, and I have no idea what it's been lately since I haven't published in a while.

I first submitted it on the twentieth of this month then something happened and my article didn't have seperate paragraphs so I had to resubmit it yesterday. Got accepted today. so basically 10 days to get an answer.

I will give you a kick if you don't write some more articles Ldyjarhead! Just try to think of each article as one long myLot response.

Not much luck with AC, currently have about 4 articles all with no up front payments. I think the articles which you had submitted belongs to the category of call for content which I supposed would be the most reasonable explanation for you being paid. However, I am not very sure myself. Currently, I have had an article submitted for weeks after weeks waiting for it to be published. It was not so long last time when I submitted the previous articles. Basically, I am not very interested with the call for content topics, which is why I did not write for AC consequently. I would like to, but I guess I am currently in a very laid back mood. Cheers and congratulations on your amazing feet and wished you success.

I have never written any call for content articles. I just submit mine for upfront payment.

When you are submitting your articles you choose either upfront payment or page veiws. I always choose upfront payments.

How do you write articles which can be entitled for up front payment? Is there any stipulation on AC's part? Or it is just randomly picked from the many articles which you had submitted? Cheers.

Well done on getting another payment. I find it does take time to write a lot of articles, but writing seems to get easier the more I do it. I don't write for AC as they only pay upfront to people in the USA. I have recently joined another site which will pay, I hope. I've also just written and posted four articles for a contest at Helium. I may not win any money for them, but they will go on making money for me from page views.

I have signed up but have not yet submitted. It's new so I don't know if anyone has been paid yet. http://neowide.com/

Hi paid2write, which new site are you writing for? You're not going to reveal yet? Tell me soon. I'm interested to know. Like you, not from US, I can't get upfront at AC, quite frustrating.

Congrats to you! Are you writing for Associate Content? If so, is it really easy to do this type of writing? Good for you! Keep up the good work!

If you checked upfront payment you should have recieved an email with an offer to buy your articles from AC. Then you would go to My Content and either accept the offer or decine it. Then they would approve it. Then you would have to confirm your paypal address in order to recieve the funds. Once you do that you are paid then they publish.

If they were already published, then that means you probably opted out of upfront payment during the publishing process. AC doesn't offer upfront payment for fiction, so it's quite possible that the option to ask for upfornt payment was disabled for you and you didn't realise that.

I have a new contact that I wrote for this weekend. I am supposed to get money in my PayPal tomorrow. I have another assignment for them this week. I will do the research today, write tomorrow morning. I am not getting as many things written as I should, but it is moving up. Hubby thinks I could do it all the time, but it would need me to be more organized in my personal life. Glad that you are getting a little more all the time.

Congratulations, and woohoo to you!!! I am not on associated content, but I am on gather.com and I am doing pretty well on there. I just cashed out to receive $50 from PayPal in a few days. It'll be nice to have the extra money, especially after the way Bank of America screwed up last month. Extra money is always nice. Good for you.

AC is Asoociated Content. You write articles and can submit them for upfront payment. I like it. I don't make a whole lot of money but every little bit helps.

Wow! Congrats. I haven't summoned up the courage to submit anything to AC yet. I read articles on there, and think "ooo, my writing is just not up to this standard yet" and I don't submit. I've written some e how articles, but they don't pay up front, they pay per page views and it takes a lot of views to reach $10. The good thing about that though is they count the page views for all your articles in a lump sum.

That's really great! Congratulations! I have never written for AC. Can you tell me what kind of articles to write? I have written only for Review Stream twice. One I made $2.00 and the other they wanted to pay me bulk rate and I got all upset and haven't written since! I just don't feel like I can do it anymore. I don't feel confident in my writing skills at this point. I can't even start a discussion her on mylot. When I go to try to write an article I can't think of a topic to write about. I don't have any trouble here responding if I'm given a topic it's just thinking of one that I get stuck on.

Congratulations! I'm glad to hear you're getting paid a bit more. Either you picked a topic they liked better, or you found a style of writing they liked more. You'll probably figure it out as you writer more articles. I've been writing like crazy lately. I've had two really big writing assignments. I got one finished, and really need to get this other one done by Thursday, but I'm not sure I'm going to make my deadline, which I hate. I have a lot of writing to do if I'm going to make it. I should be writing now instead of hanging out at mylot, but I need a break. Kelly
