Do these people seriously believe that around 40-55% of the americans would support a marxist? Do they really believe that one of the major parties would choose a Marxist as their candidate for the presidency?

the one that belive that Obama is a marxist are the same that belive that Bush is not guilty for the economic crise...if to want an healthcare for everyone is a sign to be marxist these people have to know that all west coutry are marxist, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, Great Britan, Belgium, Danmark, Sweden, Norway...every where the healthcare is a right for everyone...only in USA is not like that and to be healthy is a right only for the people that can afford a private insurance...meanwhile 40 MILLION of people are not cover at all!! and a lot of other million are only in part...

How isn't Obama a Marxist? He wants the government to run everything from loans to healthcare. His entire "Blueprint for Change" is all about "From each according to his means, to each according to his needs". He has stated that taxes should be about fairness, not raising revenue. Che Quevera, Castro and Hugo Chavez are heroes to many on the Left in the US. So yes, one of the major parties would choose a Marxist as their candidate.
