When you experience someone express his or her feeling of affection for you but you know you can't give the love back in return simply because the only feelings you had for Him/Her is pure friendship, how do you handle this?

No matter how nice your gesture is with them they will be hurt in the process. I guess the best way is to really tell them as soon as they signify their interest in you. Never prolong or procrastinate because you fear that he will be hurt. Tell as honestly as you can how you feel about it then I guess it would not prolong the agony of waiting on the other party for your answer. But the hurting part will always be there and may even lose friendship.

there's no really easy way to handle that type of situation coz either way you will hurt his feelings. better to tell him right away that you have no feelings towards him. it would hurt him but he will thank you for being honest with him

Thats a really difficult question to answer when you consider the other person expecting the love from you !! I would say in rather pure friendship such a situation never comes because you would really know your friend more than that and if friendship there is nothing like expecting back !!
