Cranraisins

I tired out Ocean Spray Cranraisins about a year ago and loved them but they are not cheap. So this year I have picked tons of wild cranberries and am trying to dry them on my own. So far it is looking good and I am using Splenda so it will be good for me. Have you dried your own fruits? Any tips?

I have only ever done banana and apples. All I did was slice them and put them on a dehydrator. Your cranberries sound good. I love dried cranberries.

That is a great idea. I too am addicted to the expensive crasins! My solution was to shop at costco, but yours sounds much better. I'm excited to hear how they turn out. Please let me know.

Hi, vicki2876. No. I have never tried to dry my own fruits before. It would be a great idea to though. That is a very great idea what you are doing.
