The 33 year old scholes was involved in a awkward collision with Thomas. then he was forced to leave the pitch just playing 16 mints for Man Utd. later the red Devils coach sir alex Ferguson told to press that scholes damaged his ligament. this would sideline him for two months. there are also lingering concerns over owen hargreaves and michael carrick. they will miss them for sure. this might not be a big problem for man utd as they have strong bench.

The last I heard 10 weeks was what was being thrown around as the recovery period for Paul Scholes. Some people are also mentioning it to be a career threatening injury. At this age, it might be a major concern for Scholes. Man U season might splutter a bit more if these injuries continue to surface. On the other hand, Drogba also went back to the injury table at Chelsea. May be a chance for Arsenal and Liverpool to pull ahead!! Cheers! Ram

Here we go... it's a deja vu for me: it seems we (as in Man Utd) can't have a season without 3 or 4 players spending most of the time at the nursery...
