Allergy to strawberries!

I just found out something new to my knowledge. My boyfriend told me he has a colleague who is allergy to strawberries. Once he smells strawberries,he will get fainted. Is this true? Does anyone has any knowledge about this? Please share with me,I am curious to know more on this. Thanks.

everyone is allergic to something..y do u make this has a problem?i had an aunt that had allergy to strawberries..so he is not the only one..and he is telling the truth to u..

Some people are allergic to strawberries. If my daughter eat a strawberry almost immediately her face starts breaking in big red bumps like mosquito bites. The more strawberries she eats the more bumps that break out on her face. They will stay for days and then some of the bigger ones will turn into sores. We went to the doctor about this when she was little. She won't eat anything strawberry flavored. I myself love to eat strawberries and coule eat them everyday.
