I get really ticked off at all the attention breast cancer is getting

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for finding a cure and wiping it out. But it's gotten so much attention, campaigns for it are everywhere. What about children with HIV, MS or Cerebral Palsey? They haven't even had a chance to live, where women with breast cancer have at least had a life. Why not focus attention on a disease that kills our children before they have a chance to really live? You rarely hear about charities for children anymore, it's breast cancer everywhere you look. The campaign is so visible and relentless that there's a lot of money going towards it and people forget about all the other worthy causes, especially diseases that rob us of our little ones. I don't believe for a minute that they don't have a cancer cure, but the drug companies are making too much money to publicize it. Again, breast cancer is a worthy cause and I contribute when I can. But for me, it comes behind other diseases that are killing our children who haven't even had a chance to attend their first day at school.
