Truth or Consequence?

If ever you find yourself in a situation where you are forced to either tell the truth or face the consequence, what will you choose? If telling the truth would result in hurting someone or putting someone you care for in a bad light but not telling the truth would put you in a tight spot or place you at a disadvantage, would you choose to tell the truth or rather tell a lie and face the consequences?

i think that both of them come in a package even you tell the truth you have to face the consequences and if tell a lie then again you have to face the music. it's better to tell the truth because it is natural and yes it is difficult to explain but in the end you are the right one while if you tell a lie then you will have to keep on making new lies to back up the previous one and this leads to trouble. so i will tell the truth whatever and who ever gets hurt or not and i will be brave enough to face it.

That's a good answer and yes you are right. Either way you have to face some consequences and i agree in the end it is still better to tell the truth. But sometimes it's hard to do so
