Your Favorite Memory?

Do you ever look back at your life and try to recount a moment that stands out as an absolute favorite? Maybe it was your first car, or first kiss? Perhaps it was the summer you spent at the ocean or an afternoon at the swimming pool? Whatever your favorite memory is, do you ever find yourself longing to go back and re-live that moment? I ask because I often think back to moments in my life that stand out in particular clarity. While I don't believe in wishing for things that can't happen, I do sometimes wonder what it would be like to go back in time and relive a favorite moment. Are there are others out there who do that too? I imagine that there must be some really great moments in your life that really stand out as your favorite. What are they?

hi sksongwriter my favorite memory is that of the look on my husbands face when I got off the plane in Phoenix. we had only been married for several months when I had to take my sister back to my parents in 'south dakota via plane. I missed him so much as we were really just newly weds, I had had to go home to try and explain and placate my dad about our marriage as my dad hadnt wanted me to marry Garland at all. this wassort of funny in that I was thirty years old, hardly a naive little kid who needed daddys approval. but this didnt seem to phase my dad. anyway when I got off the plane in hot muggy phoenix Arizons, the big smile on my husbands face I will never forget. My son also gets that same radiant sortof smile when he sees me at time, they just seem to light up as if I were the most special person in the world. That was the thing that made me feel so happy seeing that radiant look on his face, and I knew I was loved and wanted. a great feeling. I am not at all good looking, but when they look at me like that, I feel like I am. lol.
