Bored in Workplace?

There are times we get bored and tired in our workplace. This happens when our boss doesn't seem to appreciate what we do or for being tough of reasons we don't know. Or, if we are handling students, some of them are rude, insensible, and not interested to learn. These twists of events seem to depress one's state. Do you think it's worth to work in this kind of environment? What should you do if you were in this situation?

I experienced being bored at work when i work in a bank because the nature of my work is very routinary since im only a fresh graduate then. All the time i gathered application from clients for a loan requirement and submit it to other departments. Its somehow dynamic but i see it as very routinary. However patience is the key to success so no matter how bore you are you must learn how to keep that challenge in yourself.

Are u a teacher?? haha=D I guess most working places are like that, not even students.. IN jobs whereby, u have to train the trainees, and trainers have to put up with their attitude too.. Because most ple will only want to see effects fast but dun wanna go thru the hard training.. And though it's depressing at times, but as long as it's our passion, we should stick it thru and never give up^_^

I've been in this situation many times. I have also been bored and tired at work because I have outgrown the type of tasks and responsibilities that I have in my position. When that happens, I try to get involved in a project at work that will improve the flow of things or maybe join any committees that might need help to take my mind off of the situation and get some positive juices flowing inside of me. When that isn't an option, I try to find something challenging outside of work to get involved with to boost my spirits and my self-esteem.

I'm a teacher and I am never bored in my environment. The kids always can be livened up or made itnerested, it just takes work, and working with kids is just plain rewarding too. I think I would stay. And if some of the kids are rude, that means some arent and that would be enough for me I think.

Its not worthy at all. You cannot concentrate at all in your work if that is the case. In order to be productive you and other people around in your workplace should create a harmonious place.

Definitely will get bored at the situation. In addition, we are working on similar things over days, thus the chances of get bored is very high. With that situation, the best way is to look for improvement or job enrichment. Somebody will feel that is an additional work but in fact it helps a lots for the appraisal. If the situation allow, you might work on job enlargement, that would cause higher chance for promotion and getting better pay then. So, work hard and get well pay!
