Is there one place you go, or something you do that seems to bring them on?
Mine always seem to happen in a hot shower. I don't know if its the steam, the quiet, or just that they relax me enough to allow my mind to clear and let them in. I always seem to find the answer to that question that I haven't quite been able to reach, standing under the spray of the hot water. I love it!
My sis-in-law thinks it's the weirdest thing, but I can't be the only one this happens to, what about you?

well there is nothing quite like a hot shower, that is for sure. I actually do some of my best thinking in the shower. Hot showers are also a lot of fun when the wife is in there with me. *grins* Anyway, I seem to be able to think clearly in a hot shower myself, so no, you aren't the only person this happens to. I have had the answers to several problems come to me while showering. The same thing seems go happen to me while driving as well for some reason...

Mine just happen when I'm concentrating on the problem. Its like a golden beam comes out of the sky and lands right on the book I'm reading, or paper I'm writing. Its really strange, like something out of a movie. I always have to look around and wonder did anyone else see that?
