have you ever told lies?

When I was at school I always brought up "lies" excuses why I did not do my homework. I do believe that honesty is the best policy.

All of us have lied nobody did not. When I was young, I would remember how I'd tell lies to my Mother so that I could leave the house and play. And also how I would like to my playmates if only to win the games. Things like that. When I grow older and realized that God is not pleased when I'm lying I have always been doing everything to throw away that bad habit. It pays to tell the truth no matter what. Lying just to flatter people is not good so I stopped doing that. However, there are circumstances when you could lie like when you tell a child there is a ghost and therefore he must sleep. This sort of lying like white lies but just the same they still are lies and I believe I should refrain from doing.

I used to lie to my ex, it was self preservation lies because if I was honest my ex had a very bad temper and I would suffer for it, so I would lie to keep the peace, I hated doing it but I had no choice, if it was a choice with my ex being happy and my ex being angry with me then I'd choose the lie! Sometimes lies are necessary to safe people's feelings from getting hurt. But you have to be a good liar to remember what you have already said previously!

Yeah. I think people does lie. Everyone. But it depends on the lies themselves. There are some lies that was done for a good cause, and there are some that done because of the wicked personality. Both has their own risk. I made some lie. I lied to my friends, I lied to my parents, I lied to my family, I lied to my partner, but I have my own reason to do that. I don't think that honesty is the best policy, because some time it isn't.

i guess everybody has told lies. i have told lies myself and it was for a number of times. lol. but as much as possible i try refraining from doing so especially when it's really pointless.
