Hello my friends! If I am not wrong , these insects are found in every part of the globe. So what do you do to get rid of them. Do you use strong chemicals or go for some organic solutions to expel them. Your suggestions are welcome maybe I get some new ideas from you mylot friends. Thanks in anticipation.

The best way to avoid cockroaches in the kitchen is to clean the kitchen. Find a way to disregard dirty stuff. Dirty stuff is the natural environment of cockroaches, and if you just clean the place and keep all recipes in a clean environment, you will notice cockroaches won't thrive there. It is quite threatening to put some toxic stuff in the kitchen I guess.

Hi comfort, We don't have any here but when I was renting an apartment back in my Country, ohhh...they are everywhere! Our landlady used to put some bleach in the shower area since they love humid places and having all the tenants make the place wet all the time! Just keep your place dry and in the sinks, put a little bleach so that they will not stay there!

Thanks Che, its a good idea. I'll get some bleach from the market and will use it.Some places like sink holes are always wet, I'll put some bleach there also.

I don't have any cockroaches in my kitchen. They are very hard to get rid of. I would use what is called a bomb for them. You can buy it ath the store and set it off while you are away. It does not actually explode or anything like that. It sprays out a mist and will kill them.

Thanks for your nice suggestion. Is this bomb toxic? For how many days is it effective?

You are lucky that your house is free of roaches. I'm trying hard using one or the other treatment to get rid of them, but to no avail.

I lived in an apartment and got them, so they were hard to get rid of bcause even when you treat them they run to the other apartments. But when I bougt my home I found out about BORIC ACID. It got them all. and it is not as toxic as chemicals.

Thankfully we don't...we live in apartments and we have a bug guy that comes and sprays every other month. I have lived in places where they were just horrible and about the only surefire way to get rid of them is to use the flea and roach bombs. They will get rid of them.
