whats the best cd from metallica??

I loved the DVD where they were playing with orchestra!!

I would probally go with Master of Puppets or st anger, i no i no everyone says st anger was rubbish and shouldnt of been written but i think it is really good

It hard to choose but from what I see it the older CD got the the quality to be the best fro the catalogue. If you want to listen to old and raw metallica along with the legendary bassist Cliff burton I would pick 'Ride The LIghtning'. If you wanna listen to more structured and metallic riff I would pick 'Master Of Puppets'. The more complicated one will be 'And Justice For All' and if it the commercial one it'll be 'Black Album. The rest of the new doesn't quite reflect Metallica in other ways they are experimenting with new sounds and new ways of songwriting. Overall I would give to 'Master Of Puppets'. One of the greatest metal album of all time.

My favs are Ride the lightening and Master of puppets.
