For some families it's not an option, both must work. Me personally, I don't have a problem with daycare, especially for infants/toddlers. It's like their job-going off to work. It's a chance for them to learn how to interact/play with other kids, like how to share, and develop other relationships. Ideally, it'd be great if every mother in the world could stay home with their kids until they were at least about a year old, or old enough to walk. But, I definitely think daycare is a positive for kids.

I think there is nothing wrong with daycare. I am currently doing my batchelor degree and my partner works, which means my son attends daycare and loves it! He gets to interact with other children, explore and have fun. I also believe that daycare can prepare children well for school when it comes to forming relationships between letters and sounds and what is required for them to be adequately prepared for school.
My Son is a happy, well rounded little boy. Go daycare!

I think it really depends on the situation. Ideally, one parent should stay home with the kids but that's not usually possible today.
Luckily, I make enough money at my job for my wife to stay home with our daughter throughout the day since she only needs to work a couple hours at night.
