Would Christmas be any different if there were no snow?

The yuletide season is near once again. Outside, I could already feel the Christmas "chill" again. Temperatures usually drop during this time of the month and I'm pretty sure it's already fall season in the US by now. I know people from the temperate regions of the earth are used to seeing snow during winter or Christmastime. Come to think of it, aside from gift-giving and holiday cheers, would the essence and the spirit of Christmas be changed if there were no snow?

I live in Florida but I used to live Ohio. Yeah, there is a difference, but a nice one. It's nice being able to celebrate the holidays outdoors and to drive around a bit to house to house without having to worry about getting into a car accident.

I'm with you! The first year I lived here, back in 1984, I must say it was weird to feel the heat on Christmas day. Now, forget it, I don't miss it at all. All the family moved down here after I did so I'm not alone. I really don't miss that gray sludge along the roadside either!
