Are you hygienic enough to put up the toilet seat lid after you take the pee?

My mum has always asked me to put up the toilet bowl lid right after I flushed and took my pee. Ever since, I have this habit to put it up anywhere I go as I would think it's more hygienic for those who are going to use the toilet later especially the girls(but I only do this at house toilets, not those public toilets). Do you have such habit too?

I, having had two daughters, have learned to pull down my pants and sit. There is no splashing and it is more hygienic, at home that is. So I can pee, without having to touch my privates. I think it is a good habit!

Wait a second, don't you mean, put it down? I don't know who would want to touch a toilet seat at a public toilet anyway, who knows what kind of tiny creatures are crawling all over that place!

nope, i meant put it up. I have sisters in my house, my mum always scold me for pee-ing all over the toilet bowl seat(the toilet bowl lid), and the girls gotta wash it before they sit on it. lol, perhaps it's just me and my lifestyle. I wouldn't touch the toilet seat at public toilet too. duh. lol
