Hey,mylotters. If you're the employees,I believe that you should have the paid annual leave as the benefit from you employer. The number of days will be considered by the year of servicing your company or working age, something, which is normally regulated by law.I have 10 days annual leave and will be 12 days next year~`lol. How about you my friends?Do you have paid annual leave? If yes,how many days do you have? Thanks for sharing~

Hi! where i work, we are entitled to have 12 sick leaves and 12 vacation leaves. technically, we get 1 SL and 1 VL monthly. Pretty nice. you get a free day from work and get paid for it. that is why the least thing to do is not do well at work. others would work real hard and yet aren't given such benefit. let's be thankful for small blessings like these.

Ive got 20 days of annual paid leave. Here you can take the sickness leave with the doctor's proof whenever you need it, but noone likes the employee who takes too much days off for sickness reason. If you are really ill, the employer pays for the first 30 days of your leave and later it is paid by the state..but any shorter period is always paid by the employer of course you have to get the papers form your doctor in order to get free days.

I am an employees as well. We get 15 paid annual leaves and 15 paid sick leaves so that makes it a total of 30 paid leaves per year. Our company would encash all sick leaves you did not use for the previous year at your current salary. For example you only used 3 sick leaves, our company would encash the remaining 12 sick leaves. You must use all your annual paid leaves because you cannot encash them.

In my current company, it's kinda disappointing. We only have 6 paid vacation leaves and 6 sick leaves. They don't carry over and they can't be converted to cash if not used. In my previous company however, we have 20 leaves per year and we can use it either for vacation or as a sick leave. Plus, if we don't use it for that year, it will be converted to cash. Very convenient.

In most states in the US, employers are not required to provide their employees with paid time off. Most do for full time employees because it really benefits everyone to give the employee a break. I just reached my 5-year anniversary with my employer and I now receive 3 weeks paid vacation and I think 5 days of sick time.

My company is quite generous in the annual leave. For new joiners, we'll get 14 day annual leave. After we get promoted to be seniors, we'll get 20 day annual leave per year. Also, if any public holidays fall on Saturdays, it'll be added an extra annual leave.

In Australia the standard terms for paid annual leave for a full time employee gives you 4 weeks (20 days) per year. Some careers such as the Police and Ambulance Services may give you up to 6 weeks. You generally do have to work for a company for a minimum period before you are entitled to any paid holiday leave and this is usually 6 months. It varies from indutsry to industry and employer to employer but 4 weeks is the common standard.

Well ,most of the companies in our city offer annual leave with some conditions. In my company ,only those who has worked for more than a year are able to enjoy the benefit. After a year's work ,we will have 7days for leave, including the weekend.

The best part of my new job (that i started last monday) is the leave benefits. For the first time ever, I have 15 days (3 wks) paid annual, 12 paid sick, 3 paid "personal" days and 12 holidays (they give us all the federal gov't holidays plus the days after Thanksgiving and Christmas! I've never had more than 2 weeks of annual...EVER. Oh, and even though i started just last week--I still get to take those 3 personal days for 2008 before the end of the year!! How cool is that?

Hi there. I have 13 days of sick leave and 12 days of vacation leave yearly, which I've really been taking advantage of as they are inter-changeable, i.e. once you take a sick leave over and above your available sick leave credits, they take it out of your vacation leave. I think it's just right for employers to give their employees this kind of benefit. After all, everyone needs a break otherwise they'd burn out.

i don't know how many days i have in paid annual leave as my annual leave is counted in hours, and not days... i think it will be around 15 days per year if i convert the hours into days... i am very lucky to be working for a big multi-national company as the benefit here is quite substantial... take care and have a nice day...

I am self employed, so I don't have paid leave, although I do take time off each year. My husband gets 15 days per year, which will increase as his time with the company increases, and he doesn't really have a limit to sick leave, although I think he needs a doctor's note at a certain point, and then more paperwork at a longer point.

I have 15 paid annual leaves for my contractual work here. Back home in my previous company, I had 15 paid annual leaves and 15 sick leaves. Luckily I had not used my sick leaves the last time and it was converted to cash. We had this SL conversion, payday, and then Christmas bonus which we called the 13th month pay. It was a great year.

with my current employer, i am entitled of 15 vacation leave and 15 sick leave. they convert the vacation leave into cash if you still have 10 or more unused VL. SL for us will only be converted into cash after 3 or more years in service.
