What is going on with Adam Jones. I just watch the news and he is getting trouble again. This time he got into a fight with a bodyguatrd that the team is paying for so he wont get into trouble. I kind of wish they never picked him up just beacue of some of the stuff he does. He is a good player, but sometimes it is not worth it.

I think that it is important to take someone at their word, but once they break it; then you can't trust them. I spent sometime explaining how his actions not only hurt him, but the team and the fans. This is a good lesson for my son, a budding football player himself.

I too was concerned. It was looking like Dallas was becoming the home for wayward boys. Up until now he's been ok but it sure seems like he has some serious anger issues. While I don't know the circumstances of this particular incident, no one gets into this much trouble without having some serious issues. Now, hopefully this won't become a distraction. Despite their record, the 'Boys haven't exactly been playing stellar football since week 2. If Arizona is ON and the Cowboys aren't it could get ugly in a hurry.

I agree with you on him. I was concerned when they picked him up. I don't know what to think right now. The Dallas police said there were no charges to be brought on the incident, so maybe it is not what the media are reporting. We just have to wait and see. But if he is not careful, he will find himself out of football.

I wish they had never picked him up too. The guy wants to be able to make millions playing football, but he doesn't want to have to behave to do it. There are thousands of young men who would love the chance he has that would not get into the trouble he does. The team needs to cut him and sign one of those guys instead. I doubt there would be a drop off in quality of performance (he hasn't been that good anyway) and you get to avoid the distractions which can hurt a team.
