88 year old man killed his ill wife in a New Jersey hospital

There was a man whose wife was very ill in the hospital, she had a stroke and a heart attack. The news says that the man was very depressed. He went to visit his wife in the hospital, and shot and killed her, then turned the gun on himself. He is in critical condition.
What a sad story, he couldn't bear to see his wife suffer anymore.
And the sad thing about it, is if he survives his injury, he will probably be charged with murder, and could possibly spend the rest of his life in prison.
