As we all know that Border Gavaskar Trophy will be Ganguly's last series. So in your view is the decision of Saurav Ganguly good or bad? I think it was bad because he has lot of cricket left in him and he has the ability to reinvent himself. Even if he has been dropped from the squad there's always possibility of coming back.

Hello! I personally don't appreciate the decision of retirement by Ganguly himself. In my view if Ganguly retires let the other three senior members retire as they are also nomore in good form.Let the selection committee realise this and select only players who are presently doing better in the field.Let new set of player be picked up from among the best of twenty or thirty.thanx.

i think it was a vice decision to retire for sourav its better to accept your retirement before the board makes you sit out. there is so much guessing game going on before every series for the fab 4 you never now whats going to happen next though i believe that he has loads of cricket left still not being selected for irani trophy was a clear indication of whats going to happen next.

I think his decision is right .Although i agree with you tht he has a lot of cricket left in him but its getting humiliating for him to be left out of ODIs .. Its a good time to retire before ppl start asking "why isn't he retiring yet?"

I think ganguly takes good decision otherwise selector will not give chance to play . He is playing well. but he has to give opportunity to young player . he has taken decision in pressure . He took retirement with prestige .
