A messy snack

My partner and I decided to try something one day. We had some left over bananas that were just sitting in the pantry. We read somewhere online about someone baking bananas with cinnamon and sugar and thought we'd try it. It was pretty good the first time.
The second time we decided to add a little more. Needless to say bananas, chocolate, marshmallows, and a little cinnamon was quite good.
What have you made that you'v ejust thrown together at the last minute? Was it a dessert or a full meal? What was it you threw together?

Oooooooo, that sounds positively yummy! I'm going to have to try that :-) One thing I threw together recently was a fake caramel popcorn mix. I really wanted caramel corn, but I didn't have all the right ingredients and only had popping bags of corn. So, I popped the corn and threw it in a bowl. Then in a micro safe deep dish I melted some butter, a little dash of vanilla, and a bunch of brown sugar. Then I stuck that in the micro and melted it, once melted I let it boil and froth. Then I drizzled it onto the popcorn and stirred it around. It turned out really good lol. It wasn't real caramel corn, but it is a good enough substitute that I even did it a couple more times. Sometimes you can come up with some pretty neat dishes when you just throw stuff together!

That sounds great. The most recent thing I threw together was a stew of some sort! LOL We were camping and it was our last day there so we had some beef tips that we threw into a stock pot and all the remaining things we had from the past 4 days got thrown in with it! It turned out very well and we didn't have to pack up a bunch of stuff and bring it back home. I think we've titled it camp stew! LOL
