In Australia I met many English people and in Indonesia I met lots of Dutch people. When I was in the Maldives I met loads of German people. I have seen other people, like Swiss in their own country. Often I find that it is fascinating to talk to people from different countries. Which European nationalities have you met? Do you enjoy talking to people from different countries?

Well I have met the Cypriots, Germans in Berlin obviously and when I stayed in Rhodes 95% of the hotel had German guests! French when I went over on my school trip to Bolougne and Calais. Greeks when I went to Rhodes last year, this time last year I was in Rhodes in actual fact. I like hearing the accents of different people and the way they speak English which is sometimes better than some English speakers themselves!

i've met some English (england), Italian, Swedish, Scottish, & Danish citizens. they're all good in English anyway, so i never really have trouble communicating with them. it's insteresting to meet people from european countries. i've been so accustomed to american culture that i have no idea how diverse europe's culture can be. not only europe but also people in the mideast, other south east asia and other asian countries. although, they are our neighbors, we have extremely different cultures. NICE. a real eye-opener. :)

Here in my small city in central Philippines, I have met a Norwegian because he's the husband of my cousin when they came for a visit. Then I met a few Italian Priest in my work before in an orphanage. I also met some Spanish visitors in my former work doing research, German volunteers in an organization. I like talking with them because they can understand and speak English and they like the Philippines a lot. There are also different Europeans who have made the city their home. and have established food and resort business. Most have flags of their countries displayed in their establishments.
