I am wondering if you are picky with eating foods for example hate vegetables or specific foods (hate bananas). I am picky with variety foods. There are some specific vegetables and fruits that I refuse eat such as peas. i had been putting off by eating more raw foods because I am picky. Feel free share your experience about picky eating.

I am with you with the peas, I do not eat peas or any other legumes. I hate all beans and peas. I do not eat steak or roasts, I hate beets, grits, spinach, asparagus and quite a few more. I can not eat bananas, they make me feel like I will vomit, but I like the flavor of bananas, so if anything is banana flavored I will eat it, but not the actual fruit.

wow I understand how you feel. I only like raw spinach if it is blended with salad, sub, or a smoothie. I often hate cooked vegetables. I only like raw vegetables but i won't eat them as stand alone prefer eat them as salad Carrot is the kind I will never eat in raw or a juice.

I'm not generally a picky eater but there are definitely some foods I don't like. I hate bananas also, unless they're smothered in peanut butter and honey. I don't like most raw vegetables, I would much rather eat them all cooked. I'm not crazy about peas either, but sometimes I'm in the mood for them. I can't stand any artificial flavor stuff, especially fake cherry, it is nasty. And I don't like juices with corn syrup in them, it's sweet and yucky tasting, whereas real juice tastes so much better.

I am with you about cherry. I never like cherries except they are in raw. Otherwise, I prefer raw vegetables instead cooked vegetables. Two weeks ago, I tried to drink sweet tea, but I found it was too sweet. I refused drink it, i just pour it out until it go down to 1/4 of the cup and fill water.. so I only taste low sweet and like it.

I'm not really a picky eater per se. I eat actually everything except bitter melon and some other icky vegetables. There are also some fruits that I do not really eat but other than that, I'm good to go. LOL!

I like my food fresh and well prepared. But other than that I'm not picky. I love all fruits, all grains, and all but one vegetable. Bell Peppers. The few things I have always refused to eat I'm allergic to. I even hate the smell. I can smell even the tiniest bit in a dish. The servers in my favorite restaurant all know about my allergy because I tell them every time I'm there. Still they are shocked when I notice if even a few small pieces are in a dish by accident or due to recipe changes or a stupid chefs helper in the kitchen not caring to prep the food exactly as it's supposed to be made. One of my allergies my mom has also. I didn't eat it as a kid. As an adult I forced myself to eat it a few times to be polite. I always got really sick afterwords. Why? I'm allergic I realized that the fact that the smell is so repulsive to me and that I have a hyper sensitive smell for it was because I'm allergic. I have a friend who is like that with bananas and eggs. Not together. She is allergic to them. That's why she hates them. I would never force or encourage a picky eater to eat the few things they hate unless it was like all vegetables and they weren't getting good nutrition. If they eat a balanced enough diet with the choices left for good nutrition, I'd let it slide.
