I was reading some of the "QUOTES" here on Mylotter's profiles and I aint gonna tell ya no lies, a lot of them literally cracks me up, while others are just so sweet and lovable. As you can see, the quote on my profile is "Never look down on someone unless your helping them up." That quote touches my heart everytime. Here's a few of my favorite funny quotes: These quotes are pointed toward my hubby and a good friend of mine. They love'em!1.Do you want me to accept you as you are, or do you want me to lie to myself and try to like you?2.I can tell that you are lying, your lips are moving. 3.I know you are nobody's fool, but maybe someone will adopt you one day. 4.I like you. People say I've got no taste, but I like you. These are just a few of my favorite.Haha! I love'em (This is 4 you hubby!) He's laughing. What your favorite quotes Mylotters?

You don't have to be stupid to be a conservative, but most conservatives are stupid (John Stuart Mill, 19th Century). Why is it so? Because conservatism is epitomised by being reactionary, which is an aggressive attitude which rejects change and evolution. Without change we become stagnant, and stagnant water, as we all know, is pretty nasty stuff. Worse, in really inflexible conservatives their conservatism becomes fundamentalism, which is not only nasty, it's downright dangerous to other people's health. Lash

I have two favorite quotes. The first is from Eeyore (Winnie the Pooh) "When you start to see me come undone, please stitch me back up." The second is from Marilyn Monroe "I believe things happen for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so you can appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually start to trust no one but yourself, & sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."

My favorite quote is "Never make someone your priority when they only make you an option". That is the first quote that I have ever read and it has really struck a chord with me. It just carries so much with it and has so much meaning to me.

I love the one that is on your profile miracle. Here are some of my favorites: 1) Everybody is somebody else's weirdo. 2) Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. 3) If you can't make a mistake, you can't make anything. 4) Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film. 5) Ignorance is curable. Stupidity is not. And last but not least 6) The future is like a baboons @ss, colorful and full of sh*t. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! LOL

My favorite one is from a song. It is Say by John Mayer. "You better know that in the end, it's better to say too much than never to say what you need to say again." I love that because it is just a good way to live your life. Say what is on your mind because you never know if you may not get the chance to say it again in the future.

"You're a good person... I don't care what everybody else says!" One of my favorite quotes of all time is from Scotty in one of the Star Trek movies. He said, "I've got no control over anything!" Imagine not having control over your bowels, bladder, ANYTHING! Another one I like is, "I'm lost and have gone to find myself. If I get back before I return, please let me know." There's nothing like a good laugh, is there?

Hello mentalward! Nice to hear from you! You think I'm a good person? Aren't you precious, you're the first to say that here on Mylot. Just for that, I feel the same about you. And by the way... I used to watch the old star trek in the old days, and your second quote just knocked me right out of my chair. He he! Funny! You are amazing!

I really like that quote of yours! I too have a favourite quote and the first time I heard this was when I was listening to a Tony Robbins tape! Here's the quote: "The past does not equal the future!" I love this quote so much and I think that it speaks volumes! I guess it relates strongly to self-development. I try and remember this quote always when things are tough and I'm trying to change something with very little success. You've definitely got a lot of quotes there, I cannot match yours by I really do love my one quote! Andrew

There are a lot of good quotes listed here. I've enjoyed reading them, recognizing several. Every CEO, company president, & boss should have your quote on their desk and read daily. Two that I strive to live by are: Do not judge others, for you may be judged the same. If you cannot say anything positive about someone, then say nothing at all. My grandpa had a few concerning growing older: When you bend down to tie your shoes, always look to see if anything else needs to be done while you're down there. When you wake up in the morning, everything hurts, and if it doesn't hurt, then it isn't working. Memory is the second thing that goes in growing older. (He could never remember what was first!)

“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” by Oscar Wilde The Serenity Prayer Path God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference. I love both quotes very much.

One that I think is kind of funny, being from Texas, is " You may all go to h ell, and I shall go to Texas." Sam Houston, I think. And, I may have paraphrased it, not on purpose though.
