Why is this discussion in Dogs? Oh well, not important I suppose. But of course you get paid for responding. Lash

I was touring East Gippsland (State of Victoria) back in the 70s with my band, and we were billeted one night with a family who had a pet wombat, a little tacker. They get too big to be pets, but as babies they are quite fun. My partner and I were sleeping in joined sleeping bags on a mattress on the ground floor of the A-frame house, and in the middle of the night baby wombat fell down the sta...

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that everyone seems to be agreeing with you. However, consider for a moment: she has told you these are things she can't discuss with her mother and asked you for advice, you have refused to advise her except to tell her to do what she has already said she is not comfortable doing, and then somehow find that because nobody has advised her she's getting into al...

I find this useful: All Gods are one God, and the Goddess and God are one. Lash

Patms, I'm sure all we pagans are happy that you think we are good people, but you might have made more sense if you'd bothered to read the other responses and learned what we pagans consider to be witchcraft, and that many of us do, in fact have Gods and Goddesses. Lash

There's a tremendous amount of literature on the subject, and I'm sure that between us all we could give you a very good grounding on the specifics but recommending our own favourite books. I'd probably start with "Spiral Dance" (Starhawk), "Drawing Down the Moon" (Margot Adler, and perhaps, for a view of formal British Wicca, "The Witches Way" or "Eight Sabbats For Wirches" (Stewart and Janet ...

I'll have to look into that, I didn't even realise there was such a thing, and since we get a lot of sunshine, it might be quite useful - and cheap. Lash

Do you know, I have been cooking since I was 8 years old, that's 55 years, provately and in commercial kitchens, and never have I seen or heard of a gas explosion from gas cookers. I'm sure it must happen, but so rarely it hardly seems worth worrying about. Lash

Yes, electric is easy, but if you want to cook anything other than mere fuel to live on, it's simply not the best option. Lash

Well that's nice to have your opinion. Some reasons would have been nicer though. Lash

Which fuel do you prefer for cooking? Gas, electricity, or wood?

As a former professional cook I would never buy an electric stove, gas is so far superior. With electrics there is such a delay being heating up and cooling off that any dish with the slightest...

Could this be the best diet ever?

My partner and I are both quite unwell and unable to keep up any significant level of physical activity, and since we both seem to have the "fat gene" we are bordering on clinically obese. So, we are...

Somethin' green and gold and glorious to get me through the day

I am a marijuana smoker, have been for nearly 40 years now. Initially I did it for the high, then for the amazing effects it has during sex, and then, as I got older and began to have difficulty with...
