If you won in a lottery?

What would be the first thing that you will do if you a win a lottery? Let's say you won $100 million. This is a game that we sometimes do when we talk with our friends when I was younger. We would ask each other how we would spend our winnings. It's so funny because every time we talk about our fantasies, it really excites us. Even though it's just a dream, we tend to feel happy and in the end, we would all then be laughing. Laughter is the best medicine they say, so why not let our imagination run wild because we would not know our own fate. Maybe someday one of my friends or even me will win a lottery and make all our fantasies come true. Happy commenting!

There really is just this fun and excitement thing about thinking of winning a lottery. It really juggles our minds and with that, we think of ways on how to make our loved ones happy. Their happiness is really our happiness too. As long as we see that they are smiling, we as moms are contented enough to just see those grin. Thanks for the reply and have a great day!

Yes. It's everybody's dream to buy their own wonderful house. It is nice to live in a comfortable way. I hope you your wish will be granted for you and your boyfriend. It's funny because my daughter doesn't want a big house because she is afraid that there might be souls going around the house. I never taught her this but as soon as I heard it from her, it came to me that a small house will do as long as it's cute, homey, clean, and nice to live. Thanks for the response. Have a great day!

i have been buying lottery many years ago but yet to strike it big. if i do win, i would give some to help the poor but i would do it myself rather than going thru institution as u never know if the money goes to those in need. i would go to those senior citizens living in rental flats, people and vagabonds loitering in public. i guess 100-200 to them would do them some good esp. in this difficult times. i would also put hunt around for those in need and see if i can help them. this would bring joy to help others. i would keep most of the money and maybe just upgrade up a notch and buy myself a nice mpv to ferry my family around.

You know, I have this dream when I was younger that I would just go to the street and find the beggars and give them a whole lot of money. I know this is not one of the best ways of helping, but I just want to see the excited look on their faces, watching it shift from frown to smile or even laughter. I bet that would really make me feel so so good. Thanks for the comment!

If I win $100 million, no question I will go wild with all the imaginations. But, to come to the very good question you had, the first thing I would do would be to make a donation to an institution/organization which is helping people in needs around the world. I would like to make them feel relieved and happy too.

I also believe that if you give, then you shall also receive. Life is a cycle. There are times when you give and there would also be times that you receive stuffs not just money. It is also a great feeling to be able to give wholeheartedly. There is this different feeling of comfort, love, contentment, and peacefulness in your heart. This act of kindness is what makes the world go round. It helps people continue to think and feel that there is still hope with gifted people who are so generous. Thanks for the comment.

I know what you mean it is really exciting to think about our fantasies and our dreams and sometimes they do make us laugh, and I agree laughter is the best medicine and if more people laughed, then less people would be sick and have to go the doctor at least in my opinion, and if me and my fiance were to win the lottery the first thing I would want to do is buy the stuff that we need for our wedding since we are getting married in September of next year, then I would want to buy the stuff that we want, along with giving my parents money to help with the bills since we live under their roof.

Hey, Best Wishes! I wish you luck and why not? Dreams do come true somehow. Buy a lotto ticket. who knows? you might win, right? But don't rely so much on the lottery since it's a chance game hehehehe! I know you will really work hard for your future and I hope that there will come a time that you can buy a house of your own and be happy with you family. Wish you luck and happiness!

I've also played a game like this with my friends. The first thing I would do (after talking to a financial adviser about how I should get my payments), is buy a ticket to Hawaii. I would then stay there while I figure how best to invest and store my money and hire an assistant to deal with all the people who would call me and ask for money. Then I get all my closest friends tickets to Hawaii to join me there. After every has their passports and is all set, I would spend the next several years traveling all over the world until I found a place that I wanted to settle down in. Once I decided where I wanted to live, I would buy a large house with a large barn that I would turn into an animal shelter for dogs. I would use my money to hire staff for the shelter and I would let any of my friends and famiuly who wanted to work there do just that.

If I won the lottery, the first thing I would do is pay off my house, my sons house, and my 3 sisters houses. Then I would pay off my vehicle and my sons vehicle and buy my 16 yr old a reliable vehicle. Then I would take my family (all 24 of us) to Mexico for a 10 day vacation. Then I would be sensible and invest the rest, hopefully being able to live off the interest.

VACATION - what a nice word. We all long for this. For just a moment, we wish that we and our family could go to a place and have a vacation. What a wonderful place to be, Mexico. I wish I could go there too. Anyway, thanks for the comment and happy mylotting!

i would sell my townhouse and buy a detached house with a good size back yard so we can get a pool. it would be a ranch style so i do not have to go up and down the stairs anymore. i would put money away for college for my son. i would help members of my family like my parents, nieces and nephews and my sisters. buy a new car for both my husband and myself and put money away for one for my son when he is old enough. i would stock my house with food.

Stock with food? okay, but don't forget about your health. You might compromise your health because you had lots of money to buy any types of food you like. Stay away from junks LOL. You might wake up one day and realize you have doubled your weight. Thanks for the response. I hope this post made you happy!

well I would help my mom out and My hubbies dad. They are both seniors and struggle to make ends meet. I would buy my moms jeep off for her and then deal with our own bills and get our house set up. Then I would set up trust funds for my children. I would not change my life style because the way the economy is right now that money would not last.

Lifestyle change when having a great amount of money would easily drain it especially when a person has a lavish lifestyle. I also asked my hubby about winning the lottery. He said that he would keep his money in trusted banks and earn through interests only. It is really hard nowadays to spend so much because we're nearing global recession. I fear this for my child's future.

What an interesting game. Any way, If I won that kind of money, first of all I'll bay a good house at some nice place, than one or two good cars for me and my family, than I'll kick out my boss and resign from my present job, than I'd start some business of my own and lastly I 'd spend some good amount on welfare of poors.

Hi! When I was younger, I would always fantasize about winning the lottery and the things I would do and would buy. As time went on, I realized that I am not lucky when it comes to lottery, so I started not having those thoughts of easy winnings. Now that you ask, I would say that I would perhaps be stunned if I won (because of disbelief) and perhaps not do anything with my winnings until I would have a realization of the event. So, I could not think up of anything that I would do with the money, except perhaps for giving money to my family -- for my mother's medical needs and for my sister's studies.
