I have blogs but I don't know if they could earn as much as paid ones. I only have but a limited knowledge regarding these matters that's why I always ask things regarding these matters. I want to know if by having a paid site, one could earn more. I want to invest a little amount to have a website domain but I'm afraid it wouldn't work. How much could a website cost if it is a good one? Is it advisable to have a paid site or just stick to the free blog?

many have earn a lot with just using a free website and mine is rolling and gather moss slowly but surely. you don't need to get your own domain if you are not sure of how to manipulate things there. although there are a lot of cost effective sites that you only pay about $4 a month but i really don't want to suggest that to you based on what we talked in the previous conversation we had. i'm not trying to put you down here but you would really have a hard time in technical stuff. there are good free sites out there that is user friendly and i'm sure would suit your needs. you need to know then upside down for ease of manipulation.

It depends alot on how good are your contents are. Well, link exchange sites do make a very significant difference in your traffic. But if your site is about online earning or affiliated marketing, generally, most of the more popular link exchanges site like blogflux and so on will most probably reject your blog. My blog are about online earning, so did get much traffic. So earning by just by CPM is not for me. However, still working on an interest type blog that is not too densely affiliated. I think the bottom line is that you need to blog something more original. Something that are less blog about. Cheers.

Sorry, I missed the point whether a free blog or a paid website earns more. I guess it does not makes any different. A paid blog gives you more flexibility in implementing codes like pop ups and all while a free blog is more controlled by the back end underlying blogging interface. In terms of earning, its all up to your content and how you publicize it whether it is a paid or a free one. Cheers.

i have four blogs.. three are domain websites and one is free blog.. i get more opportunities with my domain sites than the free one since they are more visible in the search engine... you really have to work hard to make your blog popular.. do blog hopping, visit forums and other high ranking websites, you should have a niche, unique content, etc...
