I'll be going back to work soon after I have my baby. When I was working previously, I always had a hard time getting ready for work. I used to spend so much time on my hair in the morning too, but I've figured that out already. So, I'm trying to get into a routine now so that when the time comes, I'll already be in that mindset. To make it easier for me, I'm going to try to eat simple and fast breakfast, and pick out my clothing and accessories for the whole week at the end of every week. Are there any other tips for me to cut down on my time on getting ready for work?? How long does it take you to get ready for work?? Thanks.

I usually keep my work clothes and other things I will need...ready the night before. But the hardest part is feeding my little one and getting him ready on time...because the two of us leave together. There's nothing much I can do about it...because each day is different when it comes to the feeding and getting ready. Some days he is in a good mood and it will be easy for me...but other days he's cranky and it's a pain and I have no other option than to carry him out. As far as my things go, I've learnt to do a quick shower and dress up quickly.

See, my tummy aches every morning, it alwys has ever since I can remmeber, so that always slows me down, but that cannot be helped. I just plan to get a good hair routine down, and to make sure I plan my clothing and breakfast ahead of time.

lol...my hair routine especially on a bad hair day(which is most days) is to pull everything up and put a clip. Btw, thanks for the BR.

I'm quick, maybe 30 to 45 minutes. I lay out my clothe at night and sometimes take showers in the evening instead of morning. I usually don't cook anything, just have some cereal or cookies.

Hi there mrsgoodygoody00! It actually depends on what time I woke up. It I woke up early, I would spend more time preparing for work. That includes choosing the clothes I will wear and other activities. But if I woke up a little late, I would definitely be rushing things. I would probably just drink a cup of coffee, take a shower, change into my office attire then off I go to work. At an average, it would take me about 30 minutes to get ready for work.

When my son was small I would get as much ready as I could the night before. Now that he is older I have all the time I want to get ready. I have the same routine in getting ready for work and it only takes me about half hour. If I took time to eat it would take me longer but I wait til my first break at work to eat. Once you get into a routine it will make things easier for you!!!!
