Favourite reality shows that you ever saw?

In general i find reality shows to be visual and verbal diarrhoea. I recall years ago there was a show in Scotland where families were moved to a remote island and subsequently forced to build and survive. Likewise in the states there was a similar show where families were moved into the middle of nowhere and had to build up the farms and loghouses to survive etc. To me that is fascinating and something i would have enjoyed doing myself. A real back to basics mix of reality, history and documentary. Sadly these days we get a bunch of future z-list 'wacky' and idle stereotypes who are given plush surroundings and the mandate to be as obtuse and pathetic as possible. Can you seriously imagine any big brother (or equivalent) contestants building a house, working a farm, or actually surviving on their basic instincts? They'd not last 5mins.

I have two, Miami Ink and L.A. Ink. I always liked tattoos but now I love them . It is great to hear the story behind the reason for the tattoos.

Sorry, but for me, the words 'favourite' and 'reality show' dont belong in the same sentence I realise that they get massive audiences but I cannot understand why I think they are cheap-to-produce tacky voyeurism with no entertainment value... & I know my opinion is going to go down like a lead balloon but at least I'm honest
