Have you ever been convicted of a crime?

I was wondering if any of you mylotters would be honest enough to admit to a conviction (If you've ever had one), and if so, what was it for and do you think it taught you a lesson? I was once convicted of fraud for trying to get a train with "yesterdays ticket" To be honest, i thought that was a little harsh! I was only 19 and the train ride was only 2 miles! Why not just fine me and gimme a slap over the wrist? Anyway, what about you lot? Cheers. Pawnee

I have never been convicted of a crime or arrested for anything. I do have relatives who have been convicted of serious crimes. Actually one is still in prison and the other one was just arrested last week for a serious crime. I guess my second relative did not learn his lesson, because he served prison time about fifteen years ago, for the same type of crime he committed last week. I think he was selfish, and did not think about the ramifications it would cause not only to him but to his family. 'CRIME DOESN'T PAY"

Hi there pawnee - i agree that the respective offense wasn't worth a conviction... i mean come on, it's not like you tried to rob the train, right ? To answer the question on the other hand, i haven't been convicted yet (hope i won't be to soon).
