Does anybody know anything about Pink Floyd and the US tour?

Does anybody have any idea why when Pink Floyd came to the US back in the 80's probably, they came to Cincinnati, Ohio to do a concert and never went any further on the concert tour. To the best of my knowledge, they have never been back to the US since. Does anybody know why?
