I have two desktop computers and one laptop computer by now.I got my first desktop computer seven years ago.I bought different parts of the computer and then put them together myself. Now it's too old to run new 3D games. But if you just use it to view general web pages,it is still working smoothly.Well,my second desktop computer is from Dell. It's powerful.Recently I bought a Lenovo ThinkPad T60 laptop computer in order to facilitate my work.I like them all. :)

I have two Computers one Desk Top and One Lap Top with me! The desk top Computer is a assembled one with Celron Processor, Mora Mother board with 512 MB RAM and hard disk with 80GB. My Monitor is of samsung. My Combo drive is from Samsung. The Key Board is of samsung again, Mouse is also of samsung.Audia system attached is Intex, Printer is from HP and the scanner is from Cannon . UPS is from Microtek ! Thus You can say my Desk Top is a hybrid one.It is very good in functioning and I really don't have any problem with this combination ! Now coming to the Lap Top I do have Acer Travel Mate 2400 computer.I love it because its very sturdy and it doesn't have that delicate toy like looks. It looks like a muscular wrestler who is always ready for a fight.Same way my Acer brand of Lap Top which is World's most selling brand today, is also ready for its functioning! Thanks! Nice topic of discussion! at least because of this I could praise my much loving computers after a long time!

The MacBook or MacBookPro are the best way to go. I hesitated before my "conversion" from a PC laptop... but my fears were put to rest. The Mac doesn't crash as much, is much nicer to work with (for example, the numerous keyboard shortcuts that allow you to do things much quicker than with a mouse), and is just plain fun. Also, there are tons of freeware available to download for the Mac, that don't require purchasing expensive brand names such as Micro$oft. And as a bonus feature, most viruses are targeted to Windows machines, so you can put your mind at ease in that regard too with a Mac.

I own a Toshiba Satellite. It's one of the newer models so it's sleek and very powerful. I'm very happy with it. It's worth every penny. I actually got in online during a Christmas sale last year which is great because I saved some money. :)

i don't prefer any brands of computer, we try to build our own computer. in that way all the parts and accessories are well thought off, from the motherboard, hard disk drive, memory, casing, power supply, etc. but for laptop, i would prefer using the Apple iMac over it's competitor the Sony Vaio.
