Hi ndaniel229! You can't fall asleep just tonight or every night? Do you know the reason? For me, I will fall into sleep when I go to bed. Maybe you can try to read magazine or books?

most nights are difficult -- either just plain ole insomina or someone is falling off their bed ... (my daughter is in a "big girl" bed lol). I try laying in bed and try to fall asleep but it just never does it for me... since singing up with mylot -- now when I can't sleep I've just spent my hours here :)

i will keep my self busy so that i will feel my body become tired and sleepy. i always do this every midnight. at around 8 pm i could not stop my eyes to close and so i hurriedly do a sleep and i will be awake at around 11pm and i could not sleep. so my other options is to do laundry or clean the messy house and if i feel sleepy then i will go back to my bedroom and take a good sleep.

I've tried that ... I'd do the dishes or look for recipes - which seems to work. I just tried going to sleep now and I still couldn't. I try to blow out my hair - that takes a good hour lol

When I was a kid I always had insomnia and could never sleep at night which always made it hard to get up in time for school in the mornings, and I would often watch television most of the night until I could sleep, and on the weekends and during the Summer I would stay up all night and sleep all day, which made it easier to sleep, even now that I am with my fiance we both prefer to be on a third shift schedule because we can accomplish more things at night, because the house is always quiet, and I do not have Insomnia as bad as I used to since I have my fiance beside me whenever we go to bed.

I'll try to read, watch a movie, drink milk. Relaxing is a good method for me. It has helped me quite a bit. I think the key thing, though, is not to think about how you have to go to sleep, because you have to get up early, or something to that effect. I think that is something to remember.

Usually I read some book or magazine, it makes my eyes fall down in tiredness. If that doesn't help I get out of a bed and have some drink of water. Usually 5 minutes walking around my apartment helps to fall asleep.

Well, last night I had insomnia so I got my book light and I read for awhile. Sometimes I read, sometimes I get online. TV works but only after a LONG time.
