You can Candy an orange peel, or a lemon people, or a grapefruit peel, or pretty much any citrus peel, but can you candy a banana peel? Has anyone here tried? does anyone here know you CAN candy citrus peels? and that they would taste good?
The answer im seeking is can you candy a banana peel and it will tast good.

Never heard of that one before but I guess it could be done. It is probably something that has been tried before. I dont know what kind of resutlts would have happened from them. i guess that the idea that it hasnt caught on should probably tell you something.

Naw... If it hasn't caught on in the USA that just means its healthy XD seriously there are PLENTY of delicious (and often healthy) foods that dont catch on in the U.S. simply because the people are spoiled and are unwilling to try "certain things" (Ex. Grasshoppers.) I was reading recipezaar.com the other day on a candied citrus peel recipe and it got rav reviews from all the commenters :P
