Reading Time

If the book is very interesting like Da Vinci Code, I could most probably finish it within 6-8 hours. I'm not sure how many chapters this is; the book has about 600-800 pages, I think. If the book is boring, I could take forever!

I think it all depends on the book and how interested I am in it as well as in if I am reading it to my fiance. If I am reading it too him we take breaks as your throat gets dry fast, and sometimes ya get tongue twisted. If it's romance, then read fast (most of the time) anything to do with knowledge (read slower)

I read a lot and reading a fiction book will usually take me 2-3 days. Of course, there are times when I cannot put a good book down and could read it all in one day, but that would be exhausting. For nonfiction books, it always takes me longer. I guess because the subject matter is more serious. Usually with a nonfiction (I read mostly political and history), it will take me 1-2 weeks. A big difference from fiction, right? The other thing that gets in my way of reading books faster is that I read a lot of magazines and newspapers. Sometimes I get on a magazine kick, and the book I am reading will just sit there for awhile. I guess it all comes down to what sort of reading mood I am in. How long does it take you???

hi MizzLadyB08, It depends the what type of book i am reading.If it is a novel or anything interesting that kind and have time then i will read it with in one or two days. But if it is any other books some times it will take one or two month to complete.Or sometimes it will never complete!! Now i do not read much other than some from internet and Newspaper. It really depends on the book. If it is something that I am really into (The last Harry Potter for example) I can finish in a day or less... If it is something that I am just not really feeling it can take weeks.
