I love tomatoes and rice but i don't mix it because my sons doesn't like tomatoes. I don't understand how they can't like tomatoes but they don't.

No it is not hard at all! Let me tell you how I make mine. I make the pie crusts or you can buy them. Put the first one in a casserole dish. I browned some ground beef, sauteed some onions, steamed some carrots and potatoes and mixed it all with creamed style corn, regular corn (drained) and peas (drained). Mix all together put into dish and place crust over the top. Then I brushed the crust with butter, poked holes and then placed foil over the top, baked at 400 for 20 minutes then took the foil off and baked for 5 more minutes. Very very simple. Your chops sound good!

I am here alone, for right now hubby is out of town, so I don't usually make a whole meal just for me. But god that sounds so good. I like chicken pot pie, it is someting that granny used to make and I love them homemade. Woman behind us makes Blueberry crumble. she brings some over when she does. Night before last I had porterhouse stake, rare and baked potato. There are times when I just want a meal. I dona't do any canning any more used to when younger.

Your dinner sounds good. Tonight I did a quick drive thru of McDonalds and Burger King. We had some coupons for free big macs from McD's and french fries from BK. It was just a quick, easy and cheap dinner. For dessert we broke into the halloween candy...not to nutritious!

I am serving Beef Gargonzola with potatoes. No desert as I do not want to gain any weight. The beef is plenty for my house. (Kitties included) I like mixing it up with recipes. It will be neat to see how thias one turns out. Blueberry Crumble is a favorite of mine.
