Yes I do bother with them. That is one of the ways I try to save a mush money as possible on the items I shop for. Nothing better than getting money back for something that you are going to buy anyway! I treat it like a game. I make a game out of clipping coupons and hitting sales as well. I try to spend the least amount of money possible for my items! |
 | Shellyann36 responded to a discussion called What is your favorite salad dressing? in salad. 1 week ago
My favorite is Hidden Valley Ranch made from the packets. Mix the season packets with 1 cup of mayo and 1 cup of milk. I love the way it tastes. My next favorite is Kraft Catalina dressing. I am also a fan of the Kraft Italian dressings. This discussion makes me want a salad! |

I am grateful that we are all healthy and alive.
We are truly blessed! |
 | Shellyann36 responded to a discussion called Christmas Trees - Live vs. Artificial in have discussion on day to day issues. 2 weeks ago
Well I like both. My last artificial tree become too shaggy so we got rid of it and started hunting down live trees. I don't like to pay for live trees when I have several in the woods to choose from. They might not look perfect but they do the trick. I love the smell of a fresh tree. We always compost ours or put it in a local pond. Now I am thinking about that fresh Christmas tree smell! |
 | Shellyann36 responded to a discussion called Do you save all of your change? in questions & answers. 2 weeks ago
We have one of those large 5 gallon water bottles that we keep our pennies in. I also keep our other change but I normally roll that up and we save it for a rainy day fun or we put it toward gas or bills when we are in a bind financially. That change has really been a life saver at times (layoffs at work and general emergency's).
I would love to be like you and save it all and see how much I ... |
 | Shellyann36 responded to a discussion called Do you have a habit of reading? in reading. 2 weeks ago
I love to read. I am a fan of mysteries, romance and some science fiction novels. I am also into self help books and some non-fiction books as well. I have always liked to read since I was small. I can read a novel in one day if I have the time to devote to it. (That is not done lately with the kids, work and of course the home life). I do enjoy reading a book over watching tv. Reading helps to... |

Congratulations on your bundle of joy! I recently had a baby boy in September myself. I know how you feel. His days and nights are mixed up right now and he is wide awake at night and likes to sleep during the day. It takes a while to get accustomed to. I understand you feeling exhausted. Trying to be a mother and still trying to take care of the normal things that women have to take care of ca... |
 | Shellyann36 responded to a discussion called How are People Getting By in These Tough Times in make money. 2 weeks ago
We did some major downsizing. We rent, so no mortgage but when our lease was up we decided to move to a cheaper place. It is far cheaper than the original place we were in. We have no credit cards nor any loans. Our vehicles are paid off. Our biggest expense monthly is the rent. We also downsized in the fact that we don't go out to eat often. In the past we went out to eat at least once a week.... |
