What is the worst thing that has happened to you while eating out?

One of the worst things for me while eating out was... ketchup all over my body... I didn't noticed that the ketchup bottle was already opened. While I was to shake it, it poured all over me. All were laughing til I noticed it.

Florida, Honeymoon...... tipsy, walked into mens room instead of womens....full of men! and being tipsy doesn't help one to find the door to get out!

That sounds like a very bad experience and I am sorry that it happened to you and that you never did get your eggs cooked the way you want,but at least the manager apologized and gave you a certificate for free food in the future,and I can understand that you would just order your eggs there scrambled,and the worst thing that ever happened at a restaurant would probably be when I was a kid my parents took me and my cousin to a Chinese restaurant,and right off the bat the waiter was rude when it came to ordering and and had a bad attitude,and I accidentally spilled my drink and the waiter was yelling at me,and we never went back to that restaurant again.

I went to a restaurant to eat, I used to love it there. I got a cheesburger and fries and we sat in the smoking side which is the bar side to eat. I put the ketchup on my burger and sat there for a minute. It smelled like whiskey really bad and was making me nauseous. I ignored it and started eating only to find that my burger tasted like whiskey also. I kept eating thinking it was in my head and my taste buds were responding to my smells. Then I ate some fries w ketchup and it was the same. So I got the bottle of ketchup and smelled it and had my husband smell it and surely enough it was heavily diluted with whiskey. We told the manager and all he did was bring me a new burger and new ketchup. No apology, no coupon, no discount. I was appolled that someone can lace a ketchup bottle with hard liqor and them just dismiss it like it was funny and not a big deal.
