Hello friends I want to ask you something which is n my mind for a long time. I have a paypal account and I want to purchase something from it. but the problem is that merchant accepts only verified paypal. I don't have a credit card so I cant verify my account in usual way. Do any one have a legit way to verify my paypal account without using a credit card. Its best if the method is completely free , But I am willing to spend some money too ( however not too much because that will not be worth the product I want to purchase lolz ) But the method must be legit. No Hack please

Everyone one is wrong. You can still verify to your paypal account Actually you can verify paypal using a virtual credit card. You actually buy these virtual credit cards online just for $12 using your payapl funds or Alertpay funds. You get your VCC within 24 hours to your email. And please not that the VCC is only valid upto 24 hours as well. You will the 16 digit virtual credit card number via email and 3 Digit CVV2/CVC2 Code Number with Expiry Date (**/****) mm/yyyy. VCC must be used within 24 hours from the time it has been delivered to your email or else or it will expire due to security restrictions. You can really get verified by paypal without actually having a physical credit card. For procedure I think it will be better if you PM me. Happy mylotting!

I am interested in buying a VCC. However, I think $16 is a bit too expensive as I have seen better offers and offers as low as $5. I will add you as a friend and please PM more info.

I verified mine by using my bank account number. This links your Paypal account to your real bank account. This process takes a day or two, the time it takes to verify everything. After that you're set my friend!

If you're from the Philippines, you can verify your paypal using your Smartmoney card. But if you reside from other country, I don't have other ideas, sorry.

I think I saw a post the other day here about a Paypal debit card. Although I haven't had time yet to explore the PP site about it. Maybe you can avail of that instead of the virtual credit card (at $16+ and only 24 hours validity, that is a big waste of money!!!). What's frustrating about PP is I once sent an inquiry about verification too because I also don't have a credit card, only a debit card that doesn't have a mastercard or visa logo. The customer service rep who answered my email didn't even answer my question at all and instead just repeated what's already there in the website! One week after, he had the audacity to email me just to tell me I have to answer the survey about how effective he is as a customer service rep. I guess he got an earful when I wrote how bad I found the experience of dealing with him was :p

To verify means that you prove that you are, who you say you are in the profile of Paypal. Think in real life situation. Its the only way to do and that is using credit card.

But i have heard of some possible ways to buy a virtual prepaid debit card online for very low price ( and probably no balance ) and then using that card to verify paypal or eBay accounts.

Last month I was able to create a PayPal account and was able to use the debit card of my fiance to verify the account; later I found out that the $1.95 has bee charged to the debit card already. Now my problem is that I cannot recall anymore the username and password of that PayPal account that I was able to create. So, I decided to create another PayPal account (I believed I've used same email, I dunno if that is even possible); but then when I tried using same debit card to verify account I am getting error about it being used by another account. Whatta! Is there anyway I can make PayPal remove the first account so that the debit card can be used for the new account? Thanks.

Actually it is impossible to verify your account without using any form of credit cards. Yes it is true hat you can use a virtual credit card to verify your account. I am from the philippines and here we can use a smart money card which is a debit card. a smart money card is actually free to acquire so it is a good thing that we can use it.

it is weird because i can verify my paypal account without using my credit card... i verify mine by using my debit card and my address... then paypal send letter to my address to verify that it is really my address with a code inside the letter that i had to put into my account... and paypal also put some small money into my bank account and ask me to put the amount into my paypal account to verify my bank account... after i completed these 2 steps, my account got verified... that's it... i don't need a credit card at all even though i have two... take care and have a nice day...

umm.. do you have a debit card? you can actually use your debit card to verify your paypal account. That's all that you need to do, verify paypal and the only way to do that is to use a valid creit card or debit card. when that's verified you can then use the paypal with the needed transaction. I am a paypal user and it has not been very hard for me because i have a credit card and i was able to verify my account months back..:)

I think adding the payment instrument (credit card or debit card) is must to verify the paypal account. I did so and got verified the account. But immediately after that they limited my account saying that i need to submit photo id and address proof in order to send or withdraw money. I submitted my passport copy. They rejected the address proofs i submitted. I dont have any utility bills in my name. So i submitted the phone bill in my dad's name. They dont accept that. But alertpay accepted the same as address proof. So, i cannot use my paypal account.

Contact PayPal and ask them. It's best to get the information from the source, not 2nd hand. Depending on you PayPal account, you might just have them transfer the money to your checking account.
