Searching for a friend's name

I have fallen out of touch with a friend so I decided to do a search for his name on the Internet. I expected that my search would be difficult due to the fact that this friend has the same name as a high-profile celebrity, but I never expected it to be quite so hard. When you factor into the equation that both the given and surnames are very common it became even harder to do. So, I was left with the question: Does a famous person reserve the right to virtually take over your name?

You are right.Though it seems very easy with these sophisticated search machines it is really a tough one to get the result you desire.

I have tried to look people up online also but it gave me a huge list of the same names. I don't think anyone has the right to fully take over anyone's name though.
