Protest!

With so many negative thoughts about e-bay's new policies and greed-oriented rules, why don't you all sellers and good buyers make a protest against them? An online protest where everyone can sign on it after choosing whether they're buyers/sellers/both, then give them the link to it and show them just how wrong they are in what they're doing, and that they're gonna start losing money instead of raking it in. Boycotting while doing this protest would be good too, although I'm sure most of you are already doing that. What do you say? Anyone with me?

What you're suggesting has been done before -- several times, and it didn't have any effect on eBay's policies. They lost a few sellers and a little bit of income, and then everything went back to business as usual. The majority of sellers will never protest, and new ones are always coming along to fill the places of those who do leave. Save your energy. If you don't like eBay, find some other place to sell.

bleh =w= is it just me or are too many user-friendly online companies are turning into greedy money-eaters? I never really sold or bought anything from e-bay, but I was planning to. If it's like that over there then it's pointless, so in this tense they're actually losing new ones too!

Ebay started out being wonderful for small sellers, but now they're actively trying to get rid of them because they make more money from the big sellers. They really don't care whether they lose the small sellers, and they're usually the ones who start the protests. I used to sell there, but the site is so difficult to get through and the fees are so high that I gave up a couple of years back. I'll still buy once in a while, unless I can find what I want somewhere else.
