Oh! my rating has come down to 99....

After staying at 100 for a long time, i kind of thought i would stick to it for a bit longer but today when i opend mylot, to my surprise my rating had gone down. Dosnt matter, i would come back to it in some time. I think being active also helps you in keeping your rating and that is what i had failed to do as my little son was suffering from gastroentritis i had devouted my time to him than to mylot. Does it pinch you when your rating goes down??

100 star rating is superb! I'm sure you will get up there again once you become more active in mylot again. How's your son now? I hope he is getting better. What was the cause of gastroentritis. Is it similar to diarrhoea? I have a daughter too and there was once she had diarrhoea and it was such a mess. Then I got diarrhoea and vomitting after handling her. Had to call my parents to come help look after her. I was just so tired. Coming back to this discussion, I can't be bothered about the rating since it does not affect my earnings.

Yes, my son is better now, thank you for asking. He was getting blood diarrhoea as he got an infection of the intestine. He lost a lot of weight in 2 weeks. Now that he is better i hope he gains his health back. I too got diarrhoea after handling my son and am still suffering! Yes, now even i dont bother much about my rating, it was just that i was so habituated seeing 100 all the time and then i suddenly see 99.

I wondered why I hadn't seen you in so long. Poor little boy, I hope he's much better now!
I'm stuck at 97/100 right now and have been for months. Hey. you only have 60 more to go before you can cut and paste!!

I don't think much of my rating in myLot...if i have the time (which i havent done for quite sometime, i just try to respond to discussion) or if the discussion interests me then i try to make a response.
Hope you're son is feeling better now. Being a mom as good as you will compensate the hours you have lost in myLot...you still have time to make up

Yes my son is better now, thank you for asking. My rating dosnt bother me much now as my son is more important than the rating and perhaps peple can negatively rate you too which would bring your rating down.

Hey sangsturk! Wow! That's pretty good to have a 100%
rating! Mine has never gone past 99 and I am happy with
that! I don't know how the rating works. I have had mine
that way for a very long time without it changing so
I really don't know. I have been on mylot every day since
I started 4 months ago. I don't know if being away for
awhile would make it go down. I don't think that is fair.
You of course need to take time to be with your son. That
would have to come first. I don't understand the rating
thing anyway. I do get upset if my rating goes down. It
happened once when I first started and I got very upset,
but then it went back up so I figure that someone did it
on purpose and now I know that there are people that
really do do that sometimes. So I just don't know and I
try to not pay attention to it. I hope yours goes back
up soon.

Hi Opal26, the rating actually dosnt matter and i have never strived to get 100. I just got it one day and i thought of maintaining it! Now it does not bother me to have a low rating as people can give you a negative marking which would bring your rating down. Yes ofcourse my son is more important than the rating itself. thank you for your response.

my star rating used to be 99.I was waiting that it will be 100 but unfortunately it went down. but it doesnt pinch me for i know that we can not please everybody. some may like my post other may not. thats life! :)

Very true life comprises of up's and down's and now it does not bother me much if my rating goes down. And perhaps i am not here to make other happy , i am here to put forth my point of view and what i think about the discussion and i do just that.

you've probably done a great job to have a perfect score. i hope that i would also reach that rating. anyway, i hope that your son will get better soon. taking care of your son is definitely a good reason for you to be out of mylot for a while. i know you can still catch up.

This has happened to me many times.I think When we are inactive for some time then the rating goes down and it takes take quite some time to come up.From 99 i have come down to 98 and this kind of slipping down has been happening many times.It does affect me.There are times when we have other work, at times we take off on a holiday and cannot do mylotting during such times I find the rating slipping down.Now I have got used to it so not much affected.

at first it did and it's so frustrating knowing how long have you pampered reaching that milestone but then i realized that the system is manipulated so easily and i just don't care anymore. besides i don't believe on it already that it is the real measurement of your reputation here. no offense to myLot but it is just not right coz anyone could rate you negatively anytime when they want it and is not basing on the thought of your post. sometimes people rated you negatively because your opinion is in contrast with him/her. so who cares..!! i used to have a 9 star with a reputation of 97/100 but i drops like a falling star overnight and i reach 78 (i guess).

i think even i will get over it in sometime. Yes, you might be right when you say that people could rate negatively But arn't we supposed to be ourselves when we answer to discussions. I only put forward what i think is right , i dont always agree to what the starter of the discussion says.

thts really a gr8 thing to manage 100 for a long time congrates....yeah it happens..i had 84 few days ago n now its 78 ohh i really feel bad because i never posted anything negative ever in mylot...may be some people don't like me!!

no, not really. i was from 2 to 7 to 9 now it's 6. it dont bother me even a single bit. i'll keep posting to topics that i am interested at and would never bother the rating nor the money i will earn.
