Are you a donor of body organs? A campaign has been done lately. Up till now I have not enrolled in it. It is not that I have something against it but I do fear death. Death and all the things associated with it is a subject which I always try to avoid and avert my mind on other things. What do you think of body organ donation after your death? I was a donor when I received my first permit card but now 15 years later I am not a donor. I know now if I ever became a donor again it would be with stipulations. I would only let them have organs that my family wasn't in need of that I matched. So I could help give a gift of life to a loved one.

I used to be but since I had chemo-therapy, I can no longer donate blood or organs. Instead, I am having my body donated to a teaching hospital for research, since I cannot donate. My sister-in-law's father did that and I think it is a great idea. If I could still donate my organs and blood, I would do it. I think it is our last chance in this life to help out many people.

No, because some one already donated her boobs to me. and it was wonderful that's not artificial.

After I am gone, if someone could benefit from something I no longer need, then so be it. I give to clothing banks, food banks so why not give a part that someone else can use when I no loner need it. I do have a visual problem and even though my corneas are healthy, I have specified that my eyes be left alone. In Canada we have the right to be selective.

Hi ronaldinu, I think that is really wonderful that you have become an organ donor. I have not decided yet whether or not that I will be an organ donor or not. I am already up there in age and I don't really know if my organs are going to be of any use to anyone actually. I will discuss that with my doctor the next time that I see him. I have some medical issues that are going on right now that I am having tests done on so I need to find out what's going on before I can make a definite decision either way. I think that a person needs to be in fairly good health to be an organ donor and I'm not sure that I can qualify. But I do believe that the program is important and if I can I surely will.

I think organ donation is really good. It is a chance to give someone a better quality of life after you are gone. To help someone, breath properly. To help someone see better, or to give them a few extra years would be a great gift. I am not an organ donnor, but have thought about it a few times. I think writing about it, makes me want to get a donnor card.
