Do you hate lazy people?

Yes. I hate lazy people. In fact I consider laziness an illness that is very hard to cure. Laziness is the reason why many people are suffering from extreme poverty. And the lazy people are the first ones to complain once they get hungry. Lazy people always put the blame on others when things aren't going fine as they expected. They rant about poverty but they are too lazy otherwise to do something for themselves. Laziness makes one dull, inefficient and tactless. I know of someone who is very intelligent but he ruined his future because he was too lazy to pursue his studies. Now what he wants to do is sit down in front of the computer to play games, goes to the kitchen to eat when he feels it then sleeps. He never lifts a finger to help his parents. Laziness cannot bring someone anywhere except poverty. And unless one is born wealthy, a lazy person could never succeed.

You have some very harsh views regarding laziness! Not everyone is as you describe! There are people that are trapped in poverty and they are struggling to get out of their situation. No doubt, there are people like that as you describe but this situation isn't pure black or white! I'm struggling financially, I would even say that I'm near the poverty line but, am I lazy? I don't think so. It sounds like you are making a generalisation because of this one person who likes to play computer games all day. Let's not forget the current climate as well! We are in a credit crunch now and there are lots of people that are now losing their jobs and being laid off. Andrew

Hate is just kind of a harsh word to use. I don't necessarily hate lazy people. I think most of them are intelligent people who are just bored of some things. I would be nice to motivate them to make a move and work or just inspire them to make things easier for them by working.

i know laziness can bring people to the great trouble and also make ones life miserable but there are also people who work hard and try to put their efforts and try to make their life beautifull but then too they dont succeed as the luck dont favour them and they just live helpless and this also not fair. i can accept that the people just be lazy and spoil their life but what about those good hard working people? for few of the things in life we dont have answers and we cant know why is it happening and when is it going to end. but i feel that we all should be hard working and rest leave it in god.

I hate lazy people too. But there are people who are poor but not lazy. they were just born and grew up under those circumstances. You see when a person is poor, there are not enough chances and opportunies for them to make their lives better. But of course laziness could only result to poverty.

hi Laziness is truely an illness. Laziness leads to not only poverty but also it makes one depressed extremely. So, laziness is a curse. I don't hate lazy people. But I feel sorry for them. They are the perfect examples of how we can destroy ourselves.

Yes, I do. It's like missing lots of opportunities because someone is being lazy. If a person is poor and he is lazy, the more he becomes poor. But a person is rich yet he is still lazy, does he still miss anything in his life? Still, it's not good to be lazy.

i won't use the word hate as it is too strong for me... i prefer the word dislike... and i think you are making a generalisation here which might not be entirely true... i don't think laziness is related 100% with poverty... to some extent and to some people, i might say yes... but not all... like in my home country, there are so many examples of hardworking people who are still living in poverty because there are just not given opportunities to improve their living standard... they want to look for better job and so on... but there isn't any for them... that's why they keep on living in poverty and i pity them... they are not lazy people... it is just that opportunities haven't come to them yet... take care and have a nice day...

I don't hate lazy people but I don't enable them nor do I have room for them in my personal life. I dated a man last year that just could not seem to crawl out of his own tracks. When I began seeing him, he was working and I thought he was a hard worker. I soon learned that he had a problem holding a job and was horrible at managing his money. his apt. was a pigsty. His work was seasonal. Knowing that, he should have been looking for a job ahead. Did he? nope. He just blamed God and whined when weather didn't permit him to work any longer. He had a car but could not afford to register it because he didn't plan ahead. He then expected any person he worked for to pick him up to work. That never lasted as he didn't have a phone and often was not up and ready to work when his ride arrived...he blamed the person for not wanting to wait. I broke up with him 9 months ago and to this day he still hasn't gotten his car registered. I don't know how he manages but i got tired of listening to him complain about everyone else being the reason he could not do anything. That being said, being poor is not always a result of laziness. I am poor but I work very hard and do my best with what I have. I am far from lazy.

Yes, of course. Who wouldn't be? I agree with everything you said. Somehow, all the problem in the house, or in the family originated from laziness. The famous saying is just one of the proof: "If there is a will, there is a way!" Nothing is impossible with the power of mind and the will of the body only if we really intend to do things that is necessary. I am glad that we share the same point of view about laziness. Regards and happy myLotting!

HI masmasika, i hate lazy people to a certain extend. If one is lazy to do things after i hard day's work out there its understandable i guess. But if he is lazy from doing things when he has done nothing at all for the whole day, its considered that the person is truely a lazy person. I agree with you laziness cannot bring someone anywhere except being poor in the end.

Yes I hate lazy people especially when they are nuisances to those who are hardworking. I think lazy people instead of doing nothing should start searching for what they really love to do so that they would do something of good use for all at the same time they won't be lazy anymore.

You are awfully judgmental don't you think? And hate is a very strong word as well. And really, tell me how laziness can cause someone to be tactless? LOL Everyone has lazy days, and time periods in their life when they feel this way. I also don't believe all people who suffer from poverty are lazy. There are a great many people who work hard, sometimes at more than one job, but yet they are poor. Maybe your discussion shouldn't be so generalized, and instead should have just said that you know ONE friend who is lazy and doesn't do his fair share. Instead of implying everyone poor is lazy.

all people are not lazy what about the people that diable who want to work but there phyical body don,t allow them to work.are people that work everyday and the price of living is more then what they makeand there are so many reason why a family could be in proverty.now if you are a able body man and able to do for yourself and don,t this could be consider to be a lazy person. i don,t believe everyone is lazy and put the blame on other it,s some proud people out there know they need and will not except help and know they need it.lazy people is a limit few compared to the the ones who want to care for them selves and their family.some people have mental problem where they cannot even hold a job they know what is need but because of mental problem and having problems with authority.

Hmmmmmmm.. Actually I don't hate lazy people as such, because I myself belong to that category How can I hate myself or people who are like me?? I know being lazy is not a good habit. But then I personally feel that almost everyone irrespective of their laziness factor discharge their duties these days. Because a stiff competition is growing and survival of the fittest is the case. So,laziness to some extent can be forgiven unless they don't harm themselves, their parents and society Cheers
