How one should get rid of negetive thinking?

Just give a thought, is the thought worthwhile? Who is going to benefit from it- I, my family, my friends, my society, my country or the humanity as a whole. If none is going to benefit, reject it; it was indeed a negative thought.Try to increase the positive thinking. think of relations and friends who have come up in life with determination. i was also like that. but we should not be like that because it will affect our personal life and our family.

When you say negative thinking, there is a connotion of something about regressing or moving backward. Sometimes we have to think negatively if the thing is too risky. Like if you are near the cliff, or if some things will turn out to be not favorable in your position. You might call this a cowardly act but it usually takes one coward to become brave. However, there are things that is really worthwhile to fight for. there are things you have to move forward which really pay-offs when you achieve it. With things like that, it is definitely favorable in your position to go straight. Think of positive would equate to going ahead or moving in the forward direction. In life there are things we have to think negatively. things which concerns risky task which pay-offs less and takes more. But for those which we think pay-offs more, then why not risk it.

Oh yes positive thinking is ever so important, I believe not only what you say is bad by putting it out there in the universe but thinking negatively is not good either, no matter how bad things are one must try and find something positive as there usually is and I think it is a matter in life to appreciate the things we have in life even if it is just something small...

I believe in the power of positive thinking. It is very important to think clearly and on the up side of things. I have experienced having feelings of negativity and it can really affect your whole day including your mood and that of others. The power of positivity is good for you and your health and especially your mentality.
