I HATE MONDAYS!!!! Can we delete them?

I woke up this morning to one of my new Doxies barking and carrying on that she wanted out of the crate. Then I discovered that the two that are loose had busily deposited little brown surprises around the house (I steam cleaned the carpet Saturday!!! I mean the whole house.) So I crawled out of bed and let the little buggers out to potty. Then I tried to get the lab/pit mix that I am taking care of for a friend out so she could do her business....but her attitude was NO FREAKING WAY! I did the rest of my morning ritual...taking meds, going to the bathroom, feeding the outside cats and rounding up the Doxies and bringing them in. I then sat down to get some homework done and Katie, the newest Doxie, came trotting in with a piece of cat poop in her mouth. I got it away from her and dumped the poop in the fireplace. I went into the work room, where the cat box is placed, to check it when I found huge piles of poop! I mean it looked like an elephant came in and dumped! And it was FRESH!!!! I got to clean that up which was awful...along with the pee. So out came the carpet cleaner so I could catch the smell before it seeped into the carpet. I chewed the dog out and tried to put her outside. Yeah right! I can now go into calf wrestling! The dog weighs in at 80 pounds and has the soul of a mule. I was so angry that I wasn't going to give up...and I won! But the victory wasn't without a price. I had broken my thumb the weekend before last and it had finally stopped throbbing...but after the wrestling match with the dog, it is now throbbing again and is swelling like crazy. I know that my sister will call again with the problems she is having with her husband.(Fortunately I am on line so she can't get through, I'm on dial up.) I wish she would just dump the idiot and get it over with. That's why I have her moose dog, because it's her husband's job to walk the dog and he is staying out all night nearly every night. He never gives her warning that he's going to stay out he just does it. My sister has problems walking and she can't walk the dog...and to make matters worse they live in an apartment. The dog has had to hold her functions for up to 17 hours before the idiot finally comes home. So, since my sis loves the dog so much and will move into a place with a yard soon, I am keeping the dog. For the most part the dog is good, but collecting a five pound pile of poop just isn't a great way to start a Monday! Does anyone know how we can DELETE Mondays?

I hate to tell you this, but if we deleted Monday, then Tuesday would become the new Monday..Instead, let's go back over some of this.. First the kitty litter box problem..I had to get one with a cover because my dog thought poo was something to eat, whether it was hers or the cats..If price is an issue, I got mine at the local humane society for like 3.00, maybe you can check there.. As for the dogs getting out of the crate, I don't know what kind of crate you have, but it sounds like you need one better or put something heavy in front of it over night so they can't get out.. And for the 80 pound dog..Get a choke chain..but only use it when you need the dog to move and don't get the fabric ones, some dogs can get out of them, get the chain. Even with the chain though, watch out, if the dog decides to go somewhere, you will get some pulling. I had my dog out yesterday and when she saw the neighbor dog, she had me turned around and taking a couple steps before I got her under control..But I believe you can do this by using mostly your good hand.. I hope this helps, sounds like you have your hands full and I hope that the day gets better..
